I was shocked to hear that my aunt refinanced her house for the second time. She has just finished paying off her Mortgage. She is using the money to go on a cruise. I guess her plan is to enjoy life and just leave nothing to her children. That is fine by me but now has got to be a difficult time to refinance. Although I bet the interest rates are getting better. It is amazing the flexibility and financial options that owning your own home can give you. If you do not currently live in a home or do not own or are currently paying for a mortgage you should really think about it.
