The humans at Stargate Command have begun carrying the zat guns as standard equipment sidearms. It has also become the cheif weapon of the Tok’ra which uses them for their small size and usefullness in spy activities and the fact that the zat guns are easier to produce and require fewer raw materials than other weapons.
