The Daedalus Variations is the type of Stargate Atlantis episode that bothers me.  It is totally off the wall and doesn’t make any sense.  It is another of these other dimention episodes.  In this case there was a large Frankenstein looking monster that attacked the ship.  There were lots of problems until McKay finally figured it out and got them back.  Lots of Frankenstein but kicking too.
